What BuildLink Does

BuildLink is a platform that connects engineers with machine shops. We help you discover shops, compare capabilities, and send requests for quotes (RFQs) to multiple shops at once.

We facilitate introductions and the quoting process only. All final agreements, contracts, payments, and transactions occur directly between you and the shops you choose to work with, outside of our platform.

Your Intellectual Property

Your designs, CAD files, drawings, and specifications remain 100% yours.

When you upload files to BuildLink, you retain all ownership and intellectual property rights. We do not claim any rights to your designs. Files you upload are only shared with the specific shops you choose to send RFQs to.

We do not sell, license, or otherwise use your intellectual property for any purpose other than facilitating the quoting process you initiate.

Shop Listings

Shop profiles on BuildLink are created from publicly available information and direct submissions from shop owners. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is current or complete.

Always verify capabilities, certifications, and other details directly with shops before entering into agreements.

No Warranties

BuildLink is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not a party to any agreement between engineers and shops, and we are not responsible for:

• The quality, accuracy, or timeliness of work performed by shops
• Disputes between engineers and shops
• Payment issues or non-payment
• Any losses arising from use of the platform

Acceptable Use

Use BuildLink for legitimate manufacturing inquiries only. Don't use the platform to spam shops, collect data for competitive purposes, or any other purpose that harms our community of engineers and manufacturers.

Early Stage Platform

BuildLink is an early-stage platform under active development. Features may change, and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we build.
